This mixed-use residential high-rise is located at the corner of 8th & K Streets in Sacramento, California.  The design consists of two towers on a podium, totaling 1,039,000 square feet and reaching 31 stories.  To preserve the historical character of the site, the building exterior will re-use bricks and details from the existing building.  To preserve the scale and character of the location’s historical buildings, the design will create a pedestrian-friendly environment by adding retail store fronts on the ground level with residential units directly above, overlooking the street to encourage a vibrant streetscape.
